Tatra Log home

In the very heart of Europe are the Tatra Mountains. In the late 19th century, the artistic world became fascinated with an old Highlander’s culture, especially with their architectural designs. A group of famous Polish artists defined this style and named it “ZAKOPIANSKI STYLE”. This new style was presented at the 1900 World’s Fair in Paris. To this day, the old cottages are delighting the eye with impeccable proportions and attentions to architectural detail. The beauty of this architectural design lays in great composition of massive logs and traditional elements of folk art, woodcarving, stone and metal art. This style inspired us to create a new series of mountain log homes. Now we can proudly present them for the first time in the United States.
